You would think that the Placement of a Dumpster Rental unit is pretty straightforward.
Well, surprisingly, it is… and it isn’t.
It’s true that most people request placement on their driveway, and for the most part, this works out very well. But sometimes, and there are those occasions when placement of a dumpster unit on the driveway is not an option. This is when placement requires a little thought and planning ahead of time.
If you find yourself in the position of needing a dumpster delivery on the street in front of your property, this brings up several potential issues. Street delivery parking always requires TWO (2) spaces. And, standard street parking is only 72 hours, so you may need to have a Right-Of-Way Permit Number from the city; these are usually easy to obtain, even sometimes by phone. You may also want to get permission from your HOA if that is applicable.
